WUSC develops learning initiatives and practices, which are specifically geared to specific individual countries and cultures, to help empower people, and strengthen their communities.
WUSC works alongside our partners to address needs and gaps in the provision of quality education. By strengthening the quality of teachers, schools, administrators and communities, more children and youth, both boys and girls, are able to access education and to develop their potential.
WUSC’s work includes:
- training teachers in South Sudan and Afghanistan;
- developing girls’ leadership in Ghana and Kenya;
- strengthening the education management systems in Ghana and Afghanistan;
- increasing girls’ access to primary education in refugee camps in Kenya.
