International Student Management
WUSC has close to 30 years of experience managing scholarship programs for thousands of students from developing countries who come to Canada to pursue undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate studies. For example, more than 800 students from Botswana (southern Africa) have studied at 25 universities and colleges across Canada through scholarships paid by their government but managed by WUSC. More than 90% have graduated and returned home to contribute to their country's development. To ensure their success, we offer these students services that include: - needs assessment
- pre-departure briefing and orientation
- academic placement
- financial and academic monitoring
- reintegration workshops.
In the current academic year, close to 230 WUSC-managed Batswana scholars are enrolled at the following 18 institutions: Carleton University Concordia University Dalhousie University University of Guelph Laurentian University McMaster University McGill University Nova Scotia Agricultural College Queen's University | Ryerson University University of Ontario Institute of Technology University of Ottawa University of New Brunswick University of Regina University of Saskatchewan University of Toronto University of Windsor University of Victoria |
