Issues such as poverty, poor health, inequality and economic development are still prevalent in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The Uniterra program offers individuals and organizations the opportunity to make a difference in 14 developing countries and in Canada.

Uniterra gives Canadians the means to take concrete action and to make a real difference by applying their skills and experience.

TOWARDS A MORE EQUITABLE WORLD. Uniterra is a leading Canadian international development program that is jointly operated by CECI and WUSC. Each year, 600 volunteers contribute their time and experience to positive and lasting change towards a more equitable world by dedicating a few weeks to two years of their lives to international volunteer work. The program also provides opportunities to get involved in Canada and play an active role in combatting poverty.
