Students Without Borders™: Placements
**The deadline for sending your application for our January placements is September 30th, 2010** To participate in Students Without Borders™ : - You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must attend or be a recent graduate of a Canadian university or college. Priority will be given to a member of WUSC.
Choose your option There are three different placement streams to choose from: - International Community Service Learning (CSL)
Earn credits towards your degree or diploma. - Co-op
Choose a co-op placement in Canada or abroad. You must be enrolled in a co-op program. - Internship
Gain hands-on experience in a challenging work environment.
Preference is given to students seeking to earn credits through SWB. Placements are normally for one academic term (approximately 3 to 4 months). Current Opportunities Click here to see which placements are currently offered through SWB. How to Apply You must submit the following documents to swb@wusc.ca: - a copy of your resumé
- letter of intent outlining why you are applying for a particular placement
- three reference letters (including two academic)
- A list of no more than three (3) placements to which you wish to apply.
If you are applying for more than one placement, please indicate an order of preference in your letter of intent. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until September 30th, 2010 or until all placements are filled. Apply now and don't miss out! |
